Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Team Report

The MBTI® is one of the most frequently used empirically researched and validated personality instruments in the world.

While it is a widely held view that this instrument is not appropriate for recruitment purposes, it is popularly applied with a high degree of success in team building and development scenarios.

Workshop includes:

Workshop participants can expect to:

  • Identify the team’s overall personality profile
  • Identify each team member’s personality profile to better understand how the team works
  • Improve both individual and overall team capacities in problem-solving, communication, coping with change, and minimising conflict
  • Gain an insight into the different personality types of other colleagues
  • Learn how they can “flex” those behavioural preferences to accommodate the styles of other team members
  • Learn what motivates and de-motivates each personality type in the workplace and therefore, how to best capitalise on team strengths, address weaknesses, and enhance overall performance

The process:

  • Each team member will be emailed a link to undertake the MBTI® Team Report which must be completed prior to the workshop
  • Each team member will receive a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Team Report (15-page soft copy) prior to the workshop
  • At the beginning of the workshop, each team member will also receive supporting materials including;
    • Introduction to Myers-Briggs® Type and Teams booklet to maximise continued learning
    • MBTI® Flip a Type Tip Chart, a handy desktop reference to help apply type in the workplace
  • Following the workshop, team members will receive a subscription to the MBTI App for smartphones, a tool enabling access to rich information about personality in the workplace maximising continuous learning

Please note:

  1. The $1,500 fee covers session facilitation only, an additional cost of $250 per participant is required to access psychometric assessments and subsequent individual & team results reports (hard & soft copies), reference booklet and desk reference flip chart
  2. Further training covering Managing Change, Conflict Resolution, Using Persuasion, and Leadership Development can be organised at additional costs
  3. In-person group sessions can be arranged at no additional cost in Sydney or Wollongong at a venue provided by your organisation
  4. Group training sessions can be facilitated anywhere in Australia using Zoom, alternatively, Cheryl can be engaged to travel intrastate and interstate with agreed travel expenses reimbursed by your organisation
